In the past month (ish), we have been to two weddings, a funeral, celebrated the resurrection of our Savior, welcomed a 4 pound 5 ounce miracle named Stella Marie into the world, born to parents who've been trying for years and years to have a baby, counseled friends in need, been a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on, we've loved family, hated cencer, enjoyed watching our own baby boy grow, learn, play, and had a very cherished, memorable, absolutely perfect first Mother's Day.
With all of the ups and downs, I have been reminded like a slap in the face of a few things:
Life is here.
Life is now.
It's good sometimes and bad. It's happy and it's sad.
Life is ours.
